There are a lot of things to get ready for when adding to your family. One of them should be your health; before, during and after giving birth. Our Certified Pre & Postnatal Coach and BirthFit coach, Laura, helps you prepare for pregnancy, navigate fitness during pregnancy, prepare for birth, and relearn your postpartum body.

There are so many benefits to working out during all phases and one of the biggest is knowing your body. It’s important to know if something feels ‘off’ so you can know what to do. Our body produces a hormone called relaxin during pregnancy that can make joints unstable. If you’re not aware of your body and its’ limits, you are more likely to get injured just picking something up off the ground or going for a run outside.

We’re here to guide you in every way we can during this transition. It can all be very overwhelming so just show up and we’ll take care of the rest!

  • Learn proper breathing related to intra-abdominal pressure (aka core function)
